The song of oktapodi
Once upon a time, in the beautiful Santorini, there was a pair of octopuses. Their names were Achilles and Patroclus, they were best friends. They grew, played and swam together in the sea for years. But then, they got trapped by a mean fisherman called Chiron.
They used to think that they were lucky because they remain together in the fish tank. Until a butcher’s employee came into the store and bought Achilles.
Patroclus panicked, his friend was sold. ‘’He’ll be chopped out’’ he thought ‘’I have to help him’’ he decided, and jumped out from the fish tank. After that, he hang on the truck, he was scared. What can he do to help his friend? Patroclus didn’t know, but he’ll find a way to get Achilles out from that prison.
‘’Should I ask him to free Achilles? If I ask nicely…’’ Patroclus climb to the door ‘Hey! Can I-?’’ The man punched him in the head.
‘’Well, it didn’t work’’ he told himself.
Patroclus took the top of the container.‘’I’m just getting my friend out-’’ Another punch, and other, and other. The mean man didn’t want to free Achilles, so he tried to get rid from Patroclus, and made a strong movement of the truck, Patroclus was flying, and now he is in the glass looking at the driver. Achilles knew that it was his opportunity to get them out from this problem, so he pull the handbrake and the truck stopped. The octopuses flied far from the truck, and started jumping from a pool into another, and other, and other, because the driver was still following them.
Finally, when they were almost in the sea, they were caught, again. The man was angry, so he hit them hard, but Achilles was angrier and eject a black ink to the man’s face to distract him so they could hang on a cord while the man was going directly to the sea.
And now, everything ended, they were together again. Well, that’s what they thought before a seagull took Patroclus away from Achilles.
‘’Oh no, no again’’ and Achilles threw himself through the air.
